NorCal Rush Basketball is proud to be part of the Underdogs Basketball family, one of the Bay Area's fastest-growing youth basketball organizations. Founded in 2017 by Zac Levine with just one team, NorCal Rush has grown into one of the Peninsula's premier basketball clubs, serving more than 300 players annually with 20+ competitive and developmental teams.
Today, NorCal Rush represents the Peninsula Division of Underdogs Basketball, combining nearly a decade of Peninsula tradition with the expanded resources, coaching staff, and opportunities available through Underdogs Basketball across San Francisco, the Peninsula, and the East Bay.
At Underdogs Basketball, our mission is to provide every player with a positive, competitive, and development-focused basketball experience. We are committed to helping athletes maximize their potential on the court while building confidence, character, teamwork, and resilience that extend far beyond basketball.
Our Peninsula program continues the tradition that made NorCal Rush successful, fielding highly competitive teams while also providing developmental opportunities for players of all skill levels. We believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to improve, compete, and fall in love with the game.
Since founding, NorCal Rush Basketball has had elite players from all over the Peninsula. NorCal Rush focuses on fielding some of the most competitive teams in the area as well as fielding developmental teams to give everyone an opportunity to get better.
NorCal Rush is widely regarded as one of the Peninsula’s premier programs.
Each year we have high school basketball players playing in the PAL, WCAL, BCL, and other neighboring leagues. Our athletes are consistently placed at all levels of high school basketball.
In addition to over 50 Bay Area high schools, we have had college athletes at the following schools:
